How Does Laser Hair Restoration Therapy Work?
REVAGE 670 Laser Hair Restoration Therapy involves a non-invasive approach, which is fast and effective. Treatment is performed using a state-of-the-art laser canopy that uses powerful, but low level laser energy. The lasers actually stimulate your hair follicles in the scalp, increasing energy production, and reducing the effects of protein blocking DHT enzymes. This promotes hair thickness and density.
REVAGE 670 is the only laser to employ RPT (Rotational Photo Therapy) for hair loss. This unique patented process enables full coverage of the scalp through the use of 30 rotating diodes calibrated to consistently deliver laser light throughout the treatment process. REVAGE 670 is often referred to as "cold" laser, simply because it does not have any thermal components. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is based on the scientific principle of photobiotherapy. Photobiotherapy occurs when laser light is absorbed by cells, which causes stimulation of cell metabolism and improved blood flow.

How Long Does Treatment Take?
Your laser program will include a minimum of 24 treatments, with each treatment lasting about 20 minutes. Your Thunder Bay Laser Clinic professional may recommend additional treatments.
For a full treatment plan, the program is divided into 4 phases:
Phase 1:
2 (20 minute) laser treatments per week for 12 weeks, at which time you will be evaluated on current progress.Phase 2:
1 (20 minute) laser treatment per week for the next 12 weeks, at which time a second evaluation will take place to monitor results and adjust therapy accordingly.Phase 3:
2 (20 minute) laser treatments per month (1 every other week) for 3 months, at which time a third evaluation will take place.Phase 4:
1 (20 minute) laser treatment per month for the final 3 months, at which time a final evaluation will take place to determine your final result both digitally and microscopically. In this final evaluation a consultant will discuss an appropriate maintenance plan so that your results remain full and healthy.
Does It Hurt?
No. There is no pain associated with any aspect of the program. The laser is a Low Level Diode laser, without a thermal component. A tingling sensation of the scalp is often noticed during use due to an increase in blood flow in the scalp and hair follicles.
What Are the Side Effects?
No. There are no short or long term side effects.
What Results Should I Expect and For How Long?
In two to four months, you will begin to see noticeable improvement. Each person's response varies on an individual basis, depending on their personal hair loss history. This program works for more than 85% of the people who follow it.
